Happy New Year!

January 2nd, 2019

From all of us at Newton Dental Wellness

Wow-2019 has arrived!  I'll surely be writing '18 for the next month.

A new year-it kind of like a "clean" slate.  2019 holds so many possibilities and adventures.   It is exciting and yet a little frightening as we don't know what future holds.

As I get older I realize that anything is possible as long as we are healthy.  Not just the "average" health, but perhaps true health: in body, mind and soul.  We are not a conglomerate of independently running parts, but our whole body functions as a unit. So taking care of one part will affect the body as a whole.

January is the-run-on-the-treadmill-to-burn-the-excess-calories-off month. But wouldn't it be great if also January was the start of your best oral health year yet?  A year of great checkups, great looking fillings, and no more painful o sensitive teeth?  A whiter, more even smile for that event coming up this year? How about finding the key to great sleep and the end of grinding, jaw pain and headaches? And if you have been postponing your oral health because you really are afraid and don't know where to start-how about just starting with one tiny yet huge step: a call?

Whatever your journey takes you in 2019, I hope you will find health, joy, love and successes in both your personal and professional lives. Happy New Year!

That Special Person: You

December 4th, 2018

As December rolls in like a train, many moms find their schedules overfilled with all sorts of activities.  There is so much to do, yet so little time!  That task list is just getting bigger and bigger.  Will it ever end?

This season, don't forget to take care of that special person: you.  Make time for yourself: eat healthy, exercise, meditate. Schedule that time for self care in the calendar first. Pencil in joy: do the things that truly make you happy and feel fulfilled.

It's Monday December 3rd.  I challenge you to 21 days of healthy body, mind and soul-are you up for it?
